Medical Cryo works according to a known principle: fat cells are more sensitive than other cells to prolonged exposure to cold.

The Medical Cryo treatment starts with an initial heating phase lasting a few minutes, which raises the temperature of the targeted area to around 35 to 40°C in order to weaken the fat cell before freezing.

In a second phase, the cryogenic phase allows the temperature to fall to -5°C, which anaesthetises the skin and allows the treatment to continue without any discomfort being felt.

All the scientists agree that a thermal shock of greater amplitude optimises the final result.
